GNTC: Guide to Combined Road-Rail Transport (in French)
To celebrate its 80th anniversary, the Groupement National des Transports Combinés (GNTC) is publishing the first reference guide to combined road-rail transport in partnership with ADEME.
This 35-page comprehensive guide, available in digital and paper formats, is intended for shippers, manufacturers, road hauliers, freight forwarders, and anyone interested in rail modal shift who is not a specialist in the field.
This educational and operational document includes details of the players involved in combined transport, how a combined flow works, the equipment used, the types of ITU and multimodal platforms, the existing rail offer, case studies and the advantages in terms of decarbonisation. It also provides a step-by-step guide to launching a modal shift project with feedback from experience.
This approach is perfectly in line with the GNTC's training, promotional and communication activities, which are designed to raise the profile of the industry.
The guide, which was prepared with the help of Anne Rohrbach, is available in digital format on the GNTC website: https://lnkd.in/ezC-cpqa
