Drees & Sommer Workshop: Terminal of the Future – Understanding of possible requirements
Drees & Sommer partnered with UIRR for the Terminal of the future workshop. The session explored ideas for a “terminal of the future,” focusing on trends like connectivity and new freight flows. Current terminals face constraints such as limited space, funding issues, and operational complexity. Future progress will mainly rely on improving existing terminals despite a gap with ideal concepts.
